An Update

So, it's been awhile since I've posted anything concerning the Ivory Chronicles series. I'm still hard at work updating and creating while trying to maintain the responsibilities of an average American life. I know I have few readers, but for those gracious enough to care and want more: this is for you.

Several months back, an incredibly generous person offered to edit my first book. With extensive knowledge of the english language, and a propensity for grammar accuracy, she has spent many hours bringing my first crack at novel-writing up to speed. Ivory Chronicles: Call of the Dead is nearing the completion of it's revision, and will emerge as the 2nd edition release. In the writer's community, it's known that by the end of your first novel, you're already a better writer than when you started, so it has been well worth it to not only have it edited, but to go back through and clean up my prose.

I also started a novella covering the story of how a young girl ascends from the bottom of society to the ruler of it. If you're not sure of whom I speak, you have some reading to do! I'm currently entering the beta-reading phase. After the last edits are finalized and every inch of it has been polished to a reflective, gleaming shine, Ivory Chronicles: Ascension will be released for readers everywhere.

And finally, Book II of the Ivory Chronicles trilogy is in the works! Though at the beginning stages, I'm excited that this novel won't take nearly as long as my very first to complete. Now that I'm working my way into the lifestyle of a writer, I'm finding these processes to be much more familiar and easier to work through.
